Our complete line of sheet, gasket and packing products are manufactured from specially formulated PVC (polyvinyl-chloride) compounds available only through ProFusion. Two grades of sheet products are available: PVC-75 and Koro 70^TM.

The premium specification, grade PVC-75 sheet, has a hardness of 75-85 Shore A. This material displays excellent water resistance and is unaffected by most acids, alkalis and other corrosive chemicals. PVC-75 can handle certain concentrations of oxidizing agents such as potassium permanganate, chromic and nitric acid, hydrogen peroxide and sodium perborate. PVC-75 also offers excellent chemical resistance to certain petroleum-based lubricating oils.

The general purpose utility grade Koro 70 is intended for non-critical applications and is often used in non-gasket applications where high temperature performance (above 140° F) is not required. Typical applications include ductwork vibration isolation medium, as well as baffling and edge seals for dust and dirt particulate containment.

All of the ProFusion sheet products are thermoplastic and cannot be used where temperatures exceed 140° F. Additionally, the material properties relating to dimensional stability for thermoplastics will typically differ from comparable thermoset rubber offerings.
